Born on May 6, 2008, Alana was born and raised in San Jose, California. She was the beloved daughter of Ligia Hurtado and Ron Saldivar. Alana was a beautiful soul whose loving energy touched everyone around her. She had a smile that could light up a room and a warmth that made the people around her feel loved. Though her life was far too short, she filled it with the things she loved and the people and animals who meant so much to her. Alana had a deep love for R&B music, especially the music of Jhené Aiko, and could find comfort and joy in the songs she loved. She also loved makeup and expressing herself through beauty and fashion . Her beloved dog, Shiva, and her cat, Hazel, held a special place in her heart and were a cherished part of her life. Those who knew Alana will remember her beautiful smile, her loving spirit, her gentle presence, and the little moments that made her who she was. She had so much more life ahead of her, and the loss of her leaves a space that can never truly be filled.
