Alsedee Greene

Alsedee Greene, affectionately known to many as "BJ" passed away on May 4, 2026, in Oakland, California. Born on August 10, 1970, Alsedee dedicated much of his life to his career as a security officer, a path that he owned and shaped with unwavering commitment.

"BJ" was a man deeply devoted to his family. He cherished his wife, Jina Greene, and was a loving father to his beloved children. His family meant the world to him, and their love anchored much of his life’s joy and purpose. Outside of work and family, Alsedee found peace and happiness in fishing, a pastime that he treasured and enjoyed as a way to connect with nature and spend reflective moments in quietude.

The community will have the chance to honor Alsedee’s memory at the Chapel Of Flowers Funeral Home located at 900 S Second St, San Jose, CA 95112. A viewing will be held on May 16, 2026, from 11:00am a.m. until 1:00pm., followed by a Memorial Gathering on the same day continuing from 1:00pm to 2:00 p.m.  

Alsedee Greene’s legacy is one marked by steadfast dedication to his loved ones and his professional endeavors. He will be remembered for his Feisty spirit, his tender love for his family, and the peaceful moments he found by the water’s edge. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
