Audrey Grace McLeod Uebel Safford, age 82, passed away November 9, 2024 at her home in San Jose, California after a long battle with Mild Cognitive Impairment/Vascular Dementia.
Audrey was born July 27, 1942 in Grants Pass, Oregon, daughter to Reverend Alexander & Luetta McLeod.
Audrey was a graduate of King's Garden high school in Seattle, Wn. & Simpson College in San Francisco, Ca.
She worked for various companies & retired from Valley Radiologists, Inc. after more than 20 years of service in several of their offices.
Audrey accepted Jesus as her Savior as a young girl & remained true to her commitment throughout her life. She was active in church, serving in Women's ministries & was president of Alliance Women. She had a passion for music, singing solos, in choirs & several music groups which toured.
She became music minister at Willow Glen Alliance Church & later at Berryessa Evangelical Free Church, leading worship, directing choir & bell choir. She was devoted to her family, church, her faith.
Audrey was pre-deceased in death by her parents & 2 sisters, Lois & Janet.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Safford, daughter Kimberly Govekar (Chris), son Brent Uebel, step sons Scott Safford (Amber), Kyle Safford (Ruby), 5 grandchildren, Karissa, Ryan, Joshua, Tyler & Josiah, 2 great grandchildren, Sebastian & Gianna, sister, Joyce McLeod, nieces, Beverly & Julie, nephew, Brian & several great & great great nieces & nephews.
