Dororthy Jean Pumphrey

Dorothy Jean Pumphrey, affectionately known Sister Pumphrey or Dolly, passed on October , 2025, at the age of 96. Born on February 3, 2029, in El Dorado, Arkansas, she lived a life marked by devotion, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her faith in Christianity.

Dorothy was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, touching many lives with her warmth, generosity, and compassion. Her personality reflected her deep-rooted values, making her cherished by all who had the fortune of knowing her.

She was an evangelist who began her ministry in Santa Cruz, California, in the late 1980s, sharing her faith and love for God with countless individuals throughout her life. Her proudest accomplishment was not only her service in ministry but also the profound impact she had on the community and her family.

Dorothy is survived by five sons, who carry forward her legacy of love and compassion. As we remember her, we celebrate the incredible woman she was and the many lives she enriched with her spirit and dedication to her faith.
