Felipe Flores
On May 1, 1931, a light was brought into this world in the form of Felipe Flores Jr. His presence graced San Jose, where he resided until February 23, 2024, when he peacefully departed this earthly realm. Surrounded by his beloved family, Felipe's soul is finally reunited in heaven with his dear son, Sgt. Armando B. Flores and his baby daughter Ninfa Flores .
The memories of Felipe will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. He now rests among the angels, free from any pain or sorrow, embraced by the loving arms of his parents Felipe Sr. and Antonia C. Flores and his sister Aucencia (Chencha).
Left to cherish his legacy are his devoted wife Maria Luisa Flores and their children Enrique (Lisa) Flores, Maria del Rosario Flores, Isabel Flores, Irma Lilia (Damon) Flores, Liz Gonzales, and a host of nieces and nephews who carry a piece of his spirit within them.
Felipe's love extends through generations as he leaves behind grandchildren Enrique J., Monica E., Melissa I., Armando F., Victor D., and Anthony R.; and Great Grandson Ethan R. Flores.
In honor of Felipe's life, a viewing and rosary will take place on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Flowers Funeral Home in San Jose. The rosary service will commence at 5:00 pm. A Mass to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, March 15th at 11:00 am at St. Leo's the Great Catholic Church in San Jose followed by interment at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
As we bid farewell to Felipe Flores Jr., may we find solace in knowing that his love and light will continue to guide us from above until we meet again in the heavenly embrace he now calls home.
