John Frank Paul Passed away peacefully December 28, 2008. He was born on April 8, 1953 to Mary Patricia and John F. Paul in Butte, Montana. He attended St. Ann's elementary school and graduated from Butte High School in 1971. He enjoyed sports, fishing and camping during his years in Montana. After graduating, John joined the US Marine Corps and honorably served from 1971 to 1974. After being discharged in 1974, he lived in San Jose, California. He worked at Burk's Moving Services prior to his illness. He was a caring, thoughtful and optimistic person who touched the lives of everyone he met. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Pat Semenow, father John F. Paul, stepfather Henry Semenow, brother Kieran Dunne, sisters Rosemary Chelini and Mary Pat Martin. He is survived by his sister Diana Marini (Ron), brothers George Paul (Vicki) and Henry Semenow, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews. His greatest joy was time spent with family and friends especially his long-time pal Faye Chikuma and room mate Patricia (Lola) Hunter. He will be sorely missed by all. Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2009, starting at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Flowers, 900 S. Second Street, San Jose, California 95112. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity in the name of John F. Paul.
