He then was hired on at Kaiser Santa Clara in 1972 and served the patient population specifically with spinal cord injuries for 22 years. He attended mass regularly at Star of the Sea Catholic church in Alviso where he was part of the community for 69 years. Lucio lived a meaningful life full of candor and inspiration. Lucio loved all his children very much and spoke of them with pride and joy.
