Maria Bracamontes, born on February 22, 1943, in Jalisco, Mexico, passed away on October 13, 2026. Her life began in Jalisco and unfolded across the years with a quiet strength and enduring presence that will be remembered by those who loved her.

At the heart of Maria’s life was her family. She is survived by her husband, Felix Bracamontes, her partner in a marriage of 68 years, a remarkable bond marked by devotion and shared history. She is also survived by her sister, Guadalupe Garcia, and her brother, Juan Garcia as well as 9 children, 30 grandkids, 33 great grandkids . In their love and remembrance, Maria’s place in the family continues, held closely and carried forward with affection.

Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory at a viewing on November 12, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Of Flowers Funeral Home, 900 S Second St, San Jose, CA 95112. A Mass will be celebrated on November 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2020 E San Antonio St, San Jose, CA 95116. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, on November 13, 2026, at 11:30 p.m. through November 14, 2026, at 12:30 a.m.
