Nancy Farrant
Following a lengthy illness, Nancy passed on October 9th. Born in Pittsfield, MA,
she moved with her family to San Jose, CA in 1956.
Her initial career field was in dental assisting working in Sacramento, San Francisco, and San Jose. Her secondary career field was in ministry for the Catholic Church working for parishes in San Jose, Pleasanton, and San Carlos.
Nancy is preceded in death by her brother Gregory, sister Barbara Ann, and parents Gregory and Helen Lloyd.
Nancy's greatest love was spending time with her four adorable grandchildren. She also enjoyed summers at her mountain cabin in the Lake Tahoe area. Being with close friends was always a priority, especially if they were on a golf course.
Those who knew her well would testify, she loved making people laugh.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband Patrick, daughter Kelley Newell (Ryan), son Tim (Sarah), sister Christine Griffith (Mike), brother Charles Lloyd, and grandchildren Grant, Braedyn, Luke, and Shae.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on her care team at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Nancy's memorial service will be held at St Julie's Catholic Church at 366 St. Julie Drive, San Jose, CA 95119 |
(408) 629-3030 at 11 AM on Saturday, October 28th, followed by a reception in the Sullivan Center.
