Santos was born in Laredo, Texas and was drawn to California through his time in the Marines. After the travel and adventure, he found his wife which began a memorable 65 years. He spent his career in carpentry, and local trucking where he earned a well deserved pension. He enjoyed watching the Raiders and Cowboys, building fences, growing tomato plants, watching his grandkids, and knew the layout of San Jose since he worked all over town. His older brother and his large extended family back in Texas express their condolences. At times they would reunite and share memories of old Texas, like work on the ranch and field where his sharpshooting skills were useful.
Always a faithful provider, his family will forever cherish his time and energy spent caring for their needs. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughters and grandkids. His family stood by him through the stages of dementia which inevitably took over his life. It was heart breaking and tough but still the family came through caring for his needs.
May he rest in paradise.
