Timothy Butler

On April 6, 2026, heaven got another angel with the passing of my brother, Timothy John Patrick Butler. Tim was born on December 22, 1947. He lived his life primarily in San Jose, California and then moved to Campbell, in 1961 for the remainder of his life. He was the son of the late Lloyd W Butler and Betty Butler, who are waiting for him in heaven. Tim is survived by his sister Carol Ann Butler, his devoted first cousins, Tom and Robert Colla. Tim leaves behind his friend Heather Koomoa from Hawaii. He went to St. Mary’s grammar school in San Jose and Del Mar High School in Campbell. Tim went to West Valley College. He did varied professions in his life, including managing Villa liquors, General salesperson for ME Fox Distributorship and Pelican signs. Tim’s favorite thing other than being with all his friends was being on the golf course and having a few beers afterwards rolling dice. He loved the game of golf and when he became ill, he kept saying every day how much he wanted to get back on the golf course. Tim had a passion for beaches, especially in Hawaii. When he couldn’t get there, he loved going over to Santa Cruz and spending his days at the beach. He loved good restaurants and fine food. He loved the Minnesota Vikings and never liked the 49ers -- he made that a point. Tim will be remembered as a good friend and family member to many. Celebration of life to be scheduled in the future. Rest in peace, buddy.
